amon Wayans stars as Pierre Delacroix, the lone black writer at a floundering network who comes up with an unexpected - and outrageous - hit.
Part of a family that includes acclaimed comic talents Keenen Ivory Wayans and Marlon Wayans, Damon Wayans has come to the fore as an actor, producer and writer. Like John Belushi, Eddie Murphy and Bill Murray before him, Wayans graduated from the cast of "Saturday Night Live" to a film career. He went on establish his own gifts of charm, physical comedy and merciless satire in such films as Roxanne, Hollywood Shuffle, I'm Gonna Git You Sucka, Colors and Earth Girls Are Easy.
In 1990, he joined his brothers and a multi-racial cast (including his Bamboozled co-star Tommy Davidson) in the ground-breaking television variety-comedy show "In Living Color." He went on to write and star in the comedy romance Mo Money, the superhero send-up Blank Man and the 1995 drill sergeant comedy Major Payne.
Wayans has also been seen in The Great White Hype, Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood, Celtic Pride, Bulletproof, and most recently Goosed and the critically acclaimed drama Harlem Aria. On television, he was the star and producer of his own series, "Damon."
